Adult Sabbath School  The doors to the Sacramento Convention Center opened at 8:30 a.m. and the main auditorium began to fill up for the adult Sabbath School program. In addition to music and prayer, the service focused on the three bold projects that the Northern California Conference will be doing over the course of the next 15 months.
The Sacramento-Capitol City Church Praise Team led out in the opening song service.

Evva Martinez (upper left) had opening prayer and Ed Fargusson, assistant to the NCC president, gave the welcome.

Christian Edition, a well-known men's chorus who kicked off the weekend with a sacred concert at the Carmichael church on Friday night, performed two songs for the Sabbath School program.

Dick Duerksen, assistant to the Maranatha president, with the help of some of his friends, presented the three special projects that the NCC will be acting on with boldness in the upcoming 15 months - constructing 25 church/school buildings in Mozambique, planting an Adventist church in the greater Folsom/El Dorado Hills area, and providing a pastor to focus on the spiritual needs of the NCC's smaller schools. |
