Rio Lindo Academy would like to express its gratitude for all the donations of eyeglasses it received. In all, the group received over 2000 pairs and took them all to Mozambique. Once there, the Rio group set up an eyeglass clinic on three of the work days and fitted nearly 300 people with eyeglasses. "It was quite a rewarding experience for the the students to see the smiles on peoples faces after receiving the glasses and being able to finally see clearly," said Steve Martin, Rio's trip organizer.
